The Mega European tour says it all in the title. If you want a huge tour which covers a multitude of cultures and gives a huge array of diversity every morning you wake up...this is for you. To even try and attempt concluding all my experiences and memories over the course of the tour is both naive and impossible. Simply put - A 49 day highlight reel, 2 months on a constant high, an adventure for the ages. New everlasting friendships and a new found appreciation for this amazing world we live in. I constantly reflect on my tour with Topdeck and just wish there was some invention created to take me back and relive the Mega European tour over and over again until the end of time. I made a video for myself to reflect on for the rest of my life, feel free to take the journey with me... https://youtu.be/boK3uhGaIyY
Lots to see and lots of food This is a busy week with a lot crammed in to a short space of time. As you would expect, a lot of the scheduled activities are food and drink related but there's also some sightseeing. After two nights in Palermo, you transfer to a different hotel every night so there's little in the way of down time but you certainly get a flavour of Sicilian life and culture - and, of course, food! The hotels were a bit of a mixed bag - some better than others but all of them were adequate for one night - we particularly liked the Hotel Carmine in Marsala.
This was our second touring experience with this operator and we were not disappointed. Alex our tour guide was delightful. She was friendly, relaxed, funny and made the tour very interesting. She gave us a fabulous insight into the history of the city as well as showing us a little of the real Paris away from the hustle and bustle. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone.
