Honest insights from past guests on our Germany tours

This is a great sample of Germany from the big cities of Munich and Berlin to the quaint little villages like Rothenburg and Nuremberg. I was amazed at the number of farms throughout the country. The food was ok but the local beers were very tasty. The hotels were a great improvement over Ireland And Britain tours we did previously. Berlin did not have much around our hotel but Dresden was probably the nicest city we stayed in. Neuschwanstein castle was a highlight as well as visiting Dachau and the Brandenburg gate. Would have loved more time to visit the Olympic village in Munich. Some of the optional excursions were not worth the money but the excursions with dinner were the best times!!

Had a fantastic time on our bike and barge tour. The barge was fitted out well, the quality of the bikes and the organisation of the daily trips were really well presented and planned out. After a great day of riding we really loved the atmosphere back on the barge and the quality of the food and service was outstanding. Thanks for a great experience.

This is the first time I was on a tour group trip like this. I thought I would hate it, but I loved every minute of it. I didn’t feel rushed at all, and I felt like I saw as much as I could possibly I’ve seen in those few days.

Excellent trip! Very informative and takes you to places that you would never think of going! Treated us like royalty! I would travel with this group again. P. S. This was my second trip with Insight Vacations and loved it as much as the first trip! Excellent!

The tour was well organised Martin was very passionate about his Country’s heritage and rightly so it is a beautiful part of the world. Martin was professional in every way especially guiding a group of us on and off trains to connect up wth other tours in different Countries. There was a fine balance between the optional experiences and free time. Hotels were all excellent apart from some air conditioning issues in one Hotel! Josef our Bus Driver was amazing, he went above and beyond a real delight and watching Josef drive was a true privilege!

Ten days of beautiful scenery and fascinating history that took my wife and I from Ancient Rome to feudal lands and the renaissance. All brought to life by an excellent tour director and local guides. A Magnificent trip we will always remember.
