Took the complete Barcelona City Tour on March 8, 2016, I highly recommend this tour to anyone that wants to see as much of Barcelona in a short amount of time. (We only had a couple of days here.)Our guide, Mariona, was knowledgeable, funny and charming. Her knowledge of the history of all the areas that we went was excellent. Very professional, ran according to schedule.
Great itineraries! Comfort and convenience with tour guide, bus tour and hotels and dinner booked for you. No late dinners at the hotel please and more time in the cities instead. Would be nice if Maps for the cities are distributed ahead of time while travelling to the city to be able to plan the city explorations. Giving it just before we go off the bus is not enough time to plan the city exploration. Rain ponchos and umbrellas are more useful give- aways than pens, especially if it is rainy places where we are going.
It's incredible that you can cycle along the coast from Porto to Obidos on mostly cycle paths. The views are great for the most part. It's a shame about the destruction of the once beautiful pine forest by fire. The 5 km hill on the 3rd day was quite a challenge and several experienced cyclists in our group felt that this trip should be rated higher than it is. (There were a few other challenging hills in subsequent days). Our group always had the opportunity to ride in the van and e-bikes were available for an extra charge. Breakfasts and lunches were very good. Our van driver put on wonderful picnic spreads for us. All in all this is a great trip with a reasonable length of 5 days cycling. I felt most of us were 'done' by day 5. If you can add some days on at the beginning/end to relax and enjoy Portugal.
