We went in Feb so the desert was definitely colder but the experience was grand. Highly enjoyed the tour and wouldn't have been able to have the same experience had we gone on our own. Our tour guides, khalil and Hamada, were phenomenal- helpful every step of the way, multilingual, and very knowledgeable. We had lots of stops and great tour guides at the sites - esp Abdulkarim who offered so much history. Amenities were great, I would have preferred more history - the tours are very apolitical but skirt the glaring reality of the people before you. The desert camp and camel rides were the highlight, but alas, only one night is spent there. I would've stayed there for a week if that were an option.
A Winter Treat in the Mountains

This mid-winter festive season trek in The Anti Atlas transported me into an unspoilt world of spectacular beauty with a extraordinary sense of isolation. We wandered these mountains without any sign of tourist life and only Berber life when reaching our lunchtime oasis and evening camps. We experienced beautiful sunny days, perfect for comfortable walking and in contrast very cold nights in this mountainous terrain that each day brought a different rock formation, landscape and views. A great group of people led by Youssef our guide and fed by Hasan the chef and his 2 helpers that managed to surprise us for 7 days with delights from his simple portable kitchen.

Autista eccellente chiamato Aziz, molto in sella per i bambini piccoli, i miei hanno tra i 5 ei 15 anni ma ne vale assolutamente la pena per l'esperienza del cammello e del deserto. Davvero un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo, ma i pranzi sono costosi quando sei abituato ai prezzi di strada come noi, famiglia di 7 persone! Le guide sono fantastiche ma i suggerimenti si sommano (sempre a causa della famiglia numerosa) abbiamo dato una mancia a ciò che potevamo permetterci. Normalmente non facciamo tour organizzati, quindi ci siamo sentiti un po 'frettolosi, ma ancora una volta valeva la pena le dune e le passeggiate in cammello all'alba e al tramonto. Se porti bambini piccoli, libri da colorare e borse malate per il viaggio in macchina potrebbero tornare utili!
