It was a splendid introductory trip. The guides in each city were very good; the the cities themselves were fascinating. We chose our own restaurants which was easy. The museums were quite spectacular, and if you like art Botelo is a master of painting and sculpture. I must say I was confused about the preparatory organization, since it all seemed to be done on-line; and did not come together in a package for us until a few days before we arrived, but in the end the logistics were excellent. The cars and guides arrived on time at every stop, and the hotels were very good. So all in all, well done.

A tour well balanced between transportation and activities and price/value. Good choice of the must see on the countries visited. Overall good choice of hotel´s locations with a chance to enjoy extra features in the free time. Iris is a very good guide in the way that explains a particular society interrelated on what it was former Yugoslavia.

Exceeded my expectations. Grateful for and surprised by some of the lower-profile experiences, amazed by and grateful for the higher-profile experiences. Excellent guide and traveling companions. This itinerary is well-planned and organized. The destinations are spectacular.

This was our first visit to Japan. The small group tour, led by an excellent guide as all that we hoped for. Cultural experiences, history, exploring cities, and some countryside, and architecture. This is a wonderful tour, especially for people visiting this amazing country for the first time

I love Roman antiquities and experiencing the cultures of the Mediterranean. Tunisia was my second to last country around this iconic sea and this tour both exceeded and fell short of expectations. The pluses: 1. Roman sites like Sbeitla, Maktar and Dougga would rank in the range of top 25th-40th Roman sites seen ever. Best part is that my guide and I were often the only ones there (albeit it was mid-January). 2. Accommodation and food were excellent. 3. Driver Jamaal was very good. Both he and the guide were punctual and polite. The challenges: 1. Destination Services was/has not been as responsive as other guided tours. See review of tour company for examples. 2. No itinerary flexibility. I did two guided trips in Tunisia. This one offered no flexibility. No spontaneity. No interaction with the locals. It was: go to program site, eat lunch after entering a gated parking lot, see program site two, go to hotel. 3. The daily tourist tax is not included. Not a big expense, but this is the first group tour I've taken where that wasn't covered and it wasn't disclosed (unless in the super small font and I missed it). More a hassle to have local currency to pay. 4. Much time was spent driving, perhaps more than necessary. Just one example: Day 2 we toured Tunis and then drove 1hr south to Hammamet for a seaside hotel. Arrived in the dark. Left the next morning in the dark and drove back to Tunis to then drove west to our first site. After touring, we drove back to Tunis, then south again to the same hotel in Hammamet. Three hours of extra driving by lodging in Hammamet could have been avoided if we stayed in Tunis. 5. The guide was frequently wrong in his explanations even when I would question to make sure it wasn't a translation issue. Glad I had the Bradt book on Tunisia along as this went far deeper and was more interesting and insightful.

From start to finish this tour was well organized and packed full of things to see and experience. Tour guides were prompt, knowledgeable and eager to answer any questions. There was always someone on hand to answer questions in person or via whatsapp. So much to see and experience our family loved it and felt we had a real experience of Peru, its people, customs, food and traditions.

Four amazing countries in one trip! Each place had its own unique charm, and the itinerary was perfectly balanced. Switzerland’s Alps and Italy’s gelato were highlights!

I loved the hikes on this trip, especially the gorge walk and the hike on day 6. Really enjoyed the week in the mountains with our group and spending the week in Arenas de Cabrales. Most hikes we did not see anyone so it was nice feeling we had the trails to ourselves. The gorge walk is very popular so there are other hikers, but it is a long walk so did not feel crowded. Really impressed with the hikes on the itinerary. I feel I could not do these hikes on my own and find some of these trails so being with an experienced guide with Exodus was the way to go.

Transylvania is a fantastic destination for hiking with stunning scenery, fabulous views, and so many wildflowers. The areas we hiked in felt remote and unspoilt. We saw very few hikers on the routes we took and even had one of the mountain huts to ourselves. As some of the other reviews say, this is a challenging week and requires a good head for heights (some parts are very exposed) and a good level of fitness. The days are long (8-10 hours of walking on the first three days, 6 hours on the last three days as the walks were cut short to avoid afternoon storms) which means little 'down time'. The terrain is varied (rocks and scree, pastures, meadows, forests). A significant amount of scrambling is required the first three days, and in particular the third when heading up to La Om. The other days don't require scrambling but are still demanding in terms of the terrain and elevation gain/loss. Two nights are spent in simple huts, with basic facilities (outside drop toilets), but the location of Cabana Malaiesti is spectacular as well worth it.

Had an amazing time in Japan! The only thing we can say which really wasn’t a challenge as such, was that on our last morning we were being picked up for the airport before the hotel’s breakfast time and we had already paid for that meal. So we had to purchase breakfast elsewhere. Onsens are always a great experience. All three trips that we have booked with you previously have all been a great experience

This was the trip of a lifetime. We fell in love with Porto the minute we set foot in the city.....and Gaia was also amazing. Each town we visited was delightful and we highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to explore Portugal by foot, by boat, and by car/coach. Simply amazing.

This cruise was great. The only complaint is I did receive information on how to book optional excursions in advance.

I booked this tour in September 2025, expecting a group tour of the island, and learning about the history of the Inca’s through a guide. What we got instead was a self-guided Bolivia Hop tour. If you’re looking to do this, I would recommend booking directly through Bolivia Hop and paying $39 (at the time of writing this review). We were also provided accomodation through this tour company, and they booked us accomodation at the very top of the island (which was incredibly hard for my 65 year old mother to get to) which cost $29 a night for two people. The itinerary they also provided me was wrong, with wrong information and timings. For example, they told us we could catch a ferry to the northern part of the island and then hike back and it would take three hours. However, online research and speaking to others this seemed to be wrong and there was no ferry. Instead, the hike is three hours each way and you need to catch the ferry by 3pm that day, making it nearly impossible with the altitude unless you are quite active. I do feel this advertisement is misleading, and would definitely not advise to book this through Bamba travel or Bookmundi.

The trails were very well marked and easy to hike on your own. There is a clear itinerary of where you should be each night. Do not bring food, as there is an excellent and ample breakfast, lunch and dinner provided. The showers were also decent and at all the camps on the W trek and had warm water. The sleeping bags and mats were warm enough, although I did go in December, so summer season. Transfers were seamless. We had to wait for the ferry to make a second trip at the end, so a one hour thirty minutes delay, and the buses waited on us to take us back to Puerto Natales. Having everything booked took the stress out of trying to get my own sites and transportation, and meals being provided saved a lot on weight. Overall, no complaints and a great trip!!
