Recently did the Best of Egypt Tour and were a bit hesitant due to the distruption in middle east. We decided to go and are so glad we did. We did not feel unsafe at all and was one of the best experiences of our lives. We were so well looked after from the time we stepped off the plane. Osama deserves 5 stars for his excellent handling of logistics. Hazem was the best tour guide ever, he appeared to genuinely enjoy our group and was an excellent storyteller relating history to the ancient sites and artifacts. Also has a wicked sense of humour. The use of earphone sets is an excellent tool. The boat used for the Nile cruise was suberb after having a recent refurb - except for the size of the pool but it did not detract from the overall experience. Will definitely book Tragfalgar again.

That was our first trip with Trafalgar which included my husband BD celebration. Overall, we had an awesome experience. Before our trip we had a lot of safety concerns due to the current situation in the middle east, but it turns to be safe and fun trip. Our trip was in the beginning of May, so, we were lucky to avoid the hottest temperatures in Luxor and Aswan. We had a wonderful, very caring and supportive group of people from around the world and our tour director Hatem, a/k/a Tommy, was an expert in Egyptology. We had an opportunity to do something extraordinary: ride camels around the pyramids, fly hot air balloons, see remarkable temples and learn about Egyptian history. We highly recommend the Wonders of Egypt tour to everyone who is curious and loves adventures.

From being met at Cairo Airport by a Trafalgar representative who smoothe the way through collecting luggage and navigating or way through visa and immigration to the staff at our hotel and dealing with the various bus drivers and providers of other transportation, everything went like clockwork. Our tour director, Mohammed Sherati (not sure of the spelling), was incredibly knowledgeable and his passion for the subject of anything Egyptian shone through in everything he showed and taught us. Absolutely loved the trip!
