How We Curate Our Budget Tours

Low per day price

At Bookmundi, we offer quality multi-day tours across all price ranges, with a focus on value. Our budget tours fall within the lowest 25% in price per day for their destination—be it a country, region, or continent. This ensures you're seeing the most affordable options within the destination. Nearly 40% of tours on Bookmundi fall into this budget-friendly category, with 20% priced under USD 1,000 per person, making it easier than ever to explore the world on a budget.

All-inclusive value

Our budget tours are all about maximizing value. These packages typically include daily breakfasts, ground transportation, guided activities, some entrance fees, and comfortable accommodations—all wrapped into one upfront price. This all-inclusive approach eliminates hidden costs and simplifies planning, making it easier to enjoy your trip without worrying about the extras.

Big discounts

Almost half of our budget tours include added discounts—averaging 27% savings. These discounts are available thanks to seasonal deals, last-minute departures, and special occasion offers. If you are looking for extra savings on an already affordable adventure without compromising on quality, we’ve got you covered.

Smart itineraries

Budget-friendly doesn’t mean bare-bones. These tours are thoughtfully designed to deliver the full experience they promise—complete with key sights, cultural highlights, and real adventures. No hidden fees, no vague plans, no hop-on-hop-off fluff. Just immersive, well-paced journeys that make every day count.

Trusted operators

Just because they are budget tours doesn’t mean they are run by just any provider. We partner only with trusted, credible operators who meet our quality standards. These operators consistently earn strong reviews and are known for delivering exceptional experiences—even at lower price points.

Morocco Uncovered 2025

I would highly recommend the Morocco trip to anyone! This was my first group trip and I had an amazing time. The activities and places you visit on the trip are great - especially the Sahara! Driss, the tour leader, was fantastic - he was really knowledgeable and super helpful. I wish I could go back and experience it all over again.

This is our fourth tour with Europamundo and our tour guides were the best that we’ve ever have. We started the tour with Ouma our English speaking guide in the same bus with Ayoub the Spanish speaking guide and we felt very lucky to have them both (we’re fully bilingual). She was very well prepared and kind to us and the other English speaking couple, she spoke very clear and explained everything very well, to our luck our bus was packed with Latin American tourists mostly from Argentina, Uruguay and Peru, Ayoub the Spanish speaking guide was helpful, patient and very informative, the guy was hilarious!! He explained with plenty of detail and answered all the questions since latinos love to ask questions on every topic. He made the long drives and the whole circuit very pleasant with lots of interesting information. The last 2 guides Aoyub our English speaking guide was very kind, knowledgeable and informative always ready to help. Khalid the other Spanish speaking guide also very well informed, helpful, and very funny. It was an excellent trip, kudos to our guides!!!Thank you for making our vacation very enjoyable and for your hard work and service. You are the real “Ambassadors” of your country. Best regards Francisco and Yannett.

The hotels were clean. Breakfast was great. We were only given 2 hours in Pisa. It was not enough time to enter the leaning tower and cathedral. Tickets were required and there was a long line. It took many hours to travel to Innsbruck, Austria so we were not able to eat dinner because the restaurants were closed, including in the hotel.

My wife and I eally enjoyed the Historic trip across 5 countries. Our Europamundo guide from Bulgaria to Dubravnik, Ms Bilyana Shirokanska was a very caring guide. She made sure the oldest and the only English speaking couple were looked after well, that we undeestood everything and did not get lost.

very good. Our itinerary was jam packed and after trying to tackle Denmark on our own, it seemed really nice to have someone else do all the planning. We feel that we saw at least 4 times as much as we would of trying to navigate on our own, and at a more reasonable expense.

vERY EXCITING & ACTION PACKED. THE INTINERARY WAS FULL & MOST ACTIVITIES WER INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. THE GUIDES & DRIVERS WERE ACCOMODATING. I WOULD RECOMMEND TO OTHERS WANTING TO SEE AS MUCH IN A SHORT SPACE OF TIME!

Tips for travelers on a budget trip

Stay in hostels

They’re cheap, often centrally located, and offer opportunities to meet like-minded travelers. Many hostels offer free walking tours and events, helping you discover the city on a budget.

Use public transport

In cities where public transportation is efficient and affordable, like Europe, London, New York, and Tokyo, invest in a travel card. It’s a great way to explore cities while saving money.

Visit free attractions

From Central Park in New York and the British Museum in London to the beaches in Sydney and the ghats in Varanasi, every city has sites and attractions that cost nothing. Do some research and jump into action.

Book flights in advance

The farther the dates, the cheaper the flights. Book flights several months to a year in advance. Secure even better deals by booking flights for weekdays. Flights are also cheaper when you book return tickets with your outbound flight.

Eat local

When dining out, opt for restaurants and cafes that the locals throng. Not only do they offer authentic food but are also far more affordable. Don’t shy away from street food either, as long as the food is piping hot and the stall looks clean.

Travel off-season

Opt to travel during off-season or shoulder season. You’ll find cheaper flights, discounted accommodations, fewer crowds, and a more authentic experience.
