Ghana often surprises its visitors with all the attractions it has to offer. With diverse wildlife, beautiful beaches and ancient fortresses, it has a little something for every visitor. Take a culture and history tour of Accra to see its historical forts, towering monuments and National Museum. The city of Kumasi is well worth the trip, where you can visit the beautiful Manhyia Palace.

I still can't believe how fabulous this trip was and that I was lucky enough to do it. The places, the guides and driver to introduce us to the culture and country. Loved every moment.

A packed and varied itinerary with the extra bonus of seeing the king at the Akwasidae Festival, walking with elephants, visiting a monkey sanctuary and seeing the strange Picathartes bird, meeting local communities and seeing the castles where slaves were held. We had a great trip made possible by our helpful and very knowledgeable driver Prince and guide Oscar.

Oscar Kwarteng, our leader, was responsive to all I needed and went the extra mile to point out things of interest to make my holiday one I will remember for a long while. It was well worth the money.

I had a truly wonderful experience in Ghana, and the activities were both engaging and enjoyable. I made new friends and gained valuable life skills throughout the trip. Oscar, our tour guide, did an excellent job, and the driver was also very professional and reliable. Although some of the roads were under construction, it did not take away from the overall experience. It was a fantastic and memorable journey.

Good trip, good itinerary. Oscar and Ernest took very good care of us. Interaction with the local people happened often and it was interesting and engaging. Highlights for me were the Akwasidae festival and seeing the Ashanti King. The festival was a great event and a test to the senses, loud, vibrant, energetic…the music, the people, the colors. Other highlights, the Larabanga mosque, stingless bees visit, seeing elephants at Mole and the Picathartes bird. Witnessed a pangolin in captivity at the Nzulezu stilt village. Seeing one caged and in the conditions in which we encountered it was heartbreaking, completely unexpected and unacceptable. Support to this type of community should be eliminated.
