Welkom in Kaapstad! Welcome to Cape Town! The 'Mother City' is considered one of the most spectacular cities worldwide, thanks to many top attractions and the famous Table Mountain. It is also one of South Africa's three official capitals and the country's oldest city. After meeting your tour leader at the hotel, get right into a fun and informative orientation tour of the city. I highly highly recommend this tour. South Africa was always a dream destination for me, and this trip made that dream come true in a big way, especially thanks to our guide, Eddie. We toured and learned the history of Cape Town and the Cape Peninsula (do this excursion!), had wine in Stellenbosch, watched whales at sunrise in Hermanus, explored the heavenly Tsitsikamma National Park, and were lucky enough to see the Big Five in one day in Kruger National Park.

I always booked my tours with expatexplore and this South Africa trip( 13 days) was one the best! Our tour guide Willem( our Mr. Expect the Unexpected) was indeed the most valuable tour guide in expat. Full of awesomeness! The Safari in Johannesburg was the highlight. I called it magical and PRICELESS! The hotels are all beautiful and the lodge and the village inn are all pretty and unique. Overall, this tour is worth the experience! Not to mention all those wine tastings! Who will not get tipsy??? You've got to do this!!
