I grew up in Italy and ever since I was a young child, I’ve had a great curiosity for foreign cultures and languages. This interest led me to study business for the tourism industry and then graduate in foreign languages and cultures, specialising in English and Spanish. While studying, I travelled and lived in several European countries before settling in Ireland. These experiences helped me step easily into the travel industry, combining my passion for travels with a career. I love travelling. For me, it is a way to connect to the world and learn about cultures, religions, art, food, nature and how human beings relate to each other. This passion also fits nicely with some of my other hobbies, such as photography and cooking — there is nothing more rewarding for me to come home after a trip with great shots and a new recipe to cook!

Hello! I'm Thea. My love for wildlife photography and dramatic scenery drew me to Africa for the first time in 2013 and I have been back several times since. It was such a magical experience to be so close to so many creatures in their natural habitat. From watching hyena cubs playing with their siblings to interrupting a leopard hunting impala, my safari experience did not disappoint and I continue to return to Africa at every opportunity. Safari truly is a photographer's paradise and the people are incredibly friendly and kind. In addition, I am a frequent traveller to Asia. I adore the incredible food and rich culture that can be found all over the continent. My annual leave is never spent in the UK and I can often be found exploring new and exciting countries.

My name is Godbless and I was born in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro in a village called Machame. As a child, I looked up at the mountain every day as I walked to school, and I knew that one day I would be standing on its top. After I completed secondary school, I started working as a porter, which was without a doubt the hardest job I ever had. Over time, I saved money to put myself through safari college. I then became first an assistant, and later a lead mountain guide, reaching the top of Kilimanjaro more than 100 times. I am passionate about responsible tourism that protects and cares for the diverse cultures of our country, as well as its natural environment, whilst optimizing business and economic sustainability. My clients and their satisfaction are of the utmost importance to me, and I am proud to share a piece of Tanzania with them.

Travel started for me from a very young age with my first memorable holiday to the Caribbean, where I realised that I desired nothing more than collecting incredible memories from far-flung destinations. Since 1999 I have been lucky enough to travel in luxury globally to countries such as Iceland, China, Ecuador and the Galapagos, Belize, India, Norway and Africa. My most memorable experiences in Africa include trekking to see the gorillas in Uganda, a walking safari in Zambia, swimming to the edge of Victoria Falls and walking with elephants in Botswana. Now as a Mum of two very small children aged 2 and 1, I am enjoying working for Wayfairer Travel keeping up to speed with the best places to travel around the world, focusing on the incredible wildlife and scenery in Africa, and quickly using my experience to arrange bespoke holidays for all my clients whether with children or travelling as a couple, with friends or solo.

I was raised in Uganda, where I started heading out on safaris from a very young age! My family was very adventurous and I was lucky enough to travel all over Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Lesotho and many more countries around the world while I was growing up. This is really where my love of travel came from. I studied Environmental Science at University which led me to work in conservation, giving me the opportunities to live in Kenya, Tanzania, Tenerife and Malaysia, and I got to know these areas better. I am passionate about responsible travel and showing visitors this incredible continent and the people and animals that call it home. I believe that responsible tourism is the way forward to preserve a lot of Africa's nature. If people fall in love with this country, then they will strive to protect it.

I grew up in a rural village in the Gorkha district of Nepal, in very a remote place that did not have the accessibility of roads and vehicles. Walking miles for hours (what we call hiking these days!) was a regular part of my childhood. After high school, I had the ambition to be a geologist. While I was pursuing my studies in geology, I went trekking in the mountains for some related research work. Here, I discovered my love for traveling. I moved into the adventure and travel industry after getting hooked on trekking. When I started out, adventure travel was a fairly new concept in Nepalese tourism. But I persisted and my team and I began our travel company in Kathmandu. The ride was not an easy one, but our company has come a long way!

Hi, I’m Philemon Joel. I was born and raised in Arusha in northern Tanzania, at the foot of Mount Meru. Growing up surrounded by open plains, distant mountains, and incredible wildlife shaped who I am today. Nature wasn’t just scenery, it was part of my everyday life. As a child, I spent most of my time outdoors, listening to stories about local communities and learning about Tanzania’s diverse cultures. That early connection to the land and its people sparked a lifelong passion for exploration. Today, I continue discovering different parts of Africa and help travelers unravel it during their journey. What fascinates me most are the small details: the music, the food, the traditions, and the conversations that make each place unique. I speak both Swahili and English fluently and enjoy showing off Tanzania to travelers from around the world.

I was born and grew up in Kenya, and since childhood, I have loved travelling and experiencing the beauty of nature. I have a diploma in Business Administration from the Kabete Institute of Science and Technology, although I developed a passion for tourism later—after completing my studies. My original motivation for traveling was curiosity. I was aware of a whole world that existed outside of my bubble, and I was itching to discover it, explore, and experience a change of atmosphere and reinvigorate my thinking. Once I broke free from my comfort zone, the adventure and exhilaration of experiencing something new became addictive. It didn’t take me long to realize I wanted to see the world in living color as opposed to watching it on a television screen. I wanted to actually feel, taste, and experience the world instead of settling for the version I was reading about in books. I love that travel challenges my perspective and renews my spirit. Privately, I enjoy an active life with children living with disabilities and mentoring the parents and caregivers.
