Japan Luxury Tours and Trips

Overall, this tour was a great experience. The tour covered an excellent range of historical and cultural sites and activities, and provided a good introduction to Japanese culture and history. The CEO was amazingly organized, efficient, knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and helpful.

It was a great tour and perfect for some with no knowledge of Japan. Honestly one of the most incredible tours of my life and now I am craving to return and go on more G Adventures.

The difficulty was, that most people in the group were not in such a good physical shape as demanded in the tour description online. Because of that, a lot of activities were cancelled and cut short. For those of us, who were really waiting for the activities (like the hikes & bike tour), this was an annoyance, I'm sorry to say. Otherwise the tour was amazing, the accommodations and food were absolutelt amazing, so were the destinations!!

This trip was an unforgettable introduction to Japan — beautifully organized, culturally rich, and full of memorable experiences. From the thoughtful itinerary to the excellent guide and unique local activities, everything was seamless and enriching from start to finish.

As expected we fell in love with Japan. The amazing combination of history, culture, fabulous gardens, great food and many warm and lovely people far surpassed our expectations. We enjoyed the variety of the itinerary from modern Tokyo to the samurai era village and town of Tsumago and Kanazawa, to the history of Hiroshima and the beauty of Kyoto. The tour provided us with stress free travel. The guide was amazing and travel arrangements were superb. The extra activities of sushi making class, calligraphy, Samaurai sword training, zen meditation and the Maiko experience added to our fun and understanding. We were part of a wonderful group of 9 tour members of varying ages, interests, abilities and from different parts of the world. We look look forward to our next National Geographic Journey.

The tour was an excellent mix of places to visit, planned activities, and free time. Using taxis, buses, subway, and trains was a great way to experience the culture. The CEO was knowledgeable and personable making it a comfortable experience from beginning to end. He kept us on schedule without rushing the experiences ensuring everyone’s enjoyment.
